Angels of Colorado

Angels of Colorado offers a wide range of activates and programs both in building and the community. Our program was designed to help individuals with IDD get more out of their day-to-day life and become active members of the community in which they live. Our day program is centered around an individual’s needs, goals, interests and social interaction with a focused in improving and/or retaining communication skills. We aid in activities of daily living (ASL’s) which are fundamental skills required for an individual’s independence.

We help our participants develop the necessary skills to make choices in pursuing their interests and work toward their individualized goals. Our services can include:
• Financial skills
• Cooking groups
• Book club
• Gardening
• Personal health
• Fine Motor skills
• News and views
• Volunteering
• Seasonal Camps
• Art,
• Music
• Sports

We also, focus on areas such as self-care, safety awareness, household tasks, Mental Health focused activities, problem solving, forming relationships and community integration. As active members our participants give their input on what community activities, they would like to attend each month. With a safe environment always in mind, our participants develop skills enabling them to lead more productive and involved lives.
